Precise Leveler

This illustration shows a typical table that is not level. It had been leveled using a bubble level, but it is not truly level. Until the balls roll from the leveler the same distances as they do from the opposite side or opposite end of the table, the table is not level. When the distance a cue ball rolls from the leveler placed against one cushion is the same distance that it rolls from the leveler placed at the opposite cushion, then table will be as perfectly level as possible there and will play accordingly. Check again from head to foot and then across the table at the head-end and the foot-end just to make certain.
Remember, there will always be some player that will blame the table for a miss, but when the table has been correctly leveled with Airport Steve's Precise Table Leveler, it is level! If a ball rolls off then, it is likely because of an out-of-round ball, bad slate or some foreign matter either under or on the cloth.
Remember, it does takes common sense to use any tool. Careless users who may let the leveler slip and tilt while the ball is rolling from it will not get a true reading. I saw an example of this at a small bar with all Valley tables at Greencastle, Indiana. I checked the tables after the owner or someone leveled them and they were done improperly. This was likely fom rushing and not holding the leveler stationary while allowing the ball to roll from it. I offered to level the tables for them, but the owner refused my help. Who knows? Maybe a little roll-off was preferred there. Their cue balls were the cheapest ones made.
Used correctly, our leveler will allow you to level your tables precisely.

Enjoy the game, enjoy your level table, and play well!

These levelers are very handy to carry in your cue bag to check out and "read" any unfamilar table before a big game. Airport Steve's Precise Table Levelers are all hand-made from finest hardwoods and are available only from the finer billiard suppliers or from Airport Steve.
